Shipbuilders in Dublin This table is intended to b e read with the article Dublin Shipyards   The 1805 Admiralty survey of shipbuilding mentions eight shipyards in Dublin along Townsend Street.  Murphy’s, Cardiffs, Kehoes, Kinchs (two yards at George’s quay two at Sir J Rogersons Quay.  Some shipbuilders are listed in the early directories but the list is more easily accessed from1840.  There seem to be gaps in the list and the listing is ship and boat builders.
